Refills
Your Blast Tank With Abrasive Quickly
Now your air compressor
does the work for you! The Ruemelin Pneumatic Abrasive Pick-up ends
the hand lifting of abrasive when refilling the blast tank. Designed
to fit on all standard blast tanks that are equipped with filler valves
that have a side operated valve chain or handle and are 22" in diameter
or larger.
Equipment consists of a high
velocity Venturi type vacuum head that is connected to your compressed
air line, a storage tank having a 700 lb. abrasive capacity and also a
15 ft. length of 2" diameter vacuum hose to which is connected a suction
pick-up tube. We also furnish a floor hopper to be placed inside
of the blast room or, for greater convenience, it can be placed in a shallow
pit located in the blast room floor.
In operation you push the
abrasive from the blast room floor into the hopper, turn on the air and
the pick-up device fills the storage tank. A rubber seated shut-off
valve is provided on the bottom of the storage tank which is closed tightly
while the pick-up unit is in operation to prevent loss of vacuum.
The Venturi vacuum head is provided with a pressure gauge and a vacuum
gauge so that the person using the machine can check its operation. |
