ABRASIVE BLAST CABINETS - INTRODUCTION

Whether your needs are for suction or direct-pressure blast cabinets, you will appreciate Ruemelin's rugged, no nonsense approach to cabinet design, with features not found on other units.  Ruemelin cabinets are built specifically for use with heavy, coarse, and/or aggressive abrasives such as aluminum oxide, steel grit, garnet and the coal slag abrasives.  Our cabinets are often a trade-up choice by customers who recognize the limitations of competitive units designed primarily for use with glass beads or plastic abrasives.  It is Ruemelin's understanding of the use of abrasive blast cabinets that creates a solid product line.
First, we understand that the reason you need to purchase a blast cabinet is to "abrade" the parts you put in it, not the cabinet.  For this reason Ruemelin AG and AGF cabinets have standard features such as heavy-duty replaceable steel liner plates, vision screens protecting the vision windows from frosting, 5/16 inch thick perforated steel table plates on most models and heavy-duty blast hose.
Second, we understand that you want to accomplish your task in the shortest time possible with satisfactory results.  For this we provide either our Type "B" suction gun, which has been recognized as the most efficient in the industry, or a precision adjustment direct pressure Ruemelin blast tank.
Third, we understand that you don't want to contaminate your work space with dust from the blasting operation or waste your money on a "tin can" type dust filter.  For this we can provide a Ruemelin bag-type dust filter with filter bags in a steel enclosure and with the same features as our regular line of heavy-duty dust filters.
Fourth, we understand that your needs may require special equipment.  Here we offer a wide range of accessories such as end doors, turntables (both free-wheeling and powered), variable-speed rotary barrels, work cars with side tracks for loading heavy pieces, multiple guns, as well as others.
We also make special cabinets to accommodate robotics and other special requirements.  Contact us for further details.
